Complaints

If something has gone wrong with a quote, a collection or a partner, tell us. We will investigate and come back to you.

We want collections to be reliable and quotes to be accurate. If they are not, we need to hear it. This page explains how to complain and what we will do.

How to contact us

Please include your business name, site address, what went wrong, and dates. If the issue is a missed collection, tell us the stream (general, recycling, food, glass, clinical) and whether the bin was accessible.

What happens next

  1. We aim to acknowledge your complaint within two working days.
  2. We investigate with you and, where relevant, with the collection partner.
  3. We tell you what we found and what we will do (re-collection, contract review, or an explanation if the service was in line with the agreement).

Collections are carried out by licensed partners. We remain the point of contact for issues that started with a quote or account we arranged. For data-protection concerns see our privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions

How fast will you respond?

We aim to acknowledge complaints within two working days and to give a full response as soon as we have spoken to you and the partner involved.

What if the problem is the collection company, not Stratos?

Tell us anyway. We arranged the comparison and setup, so we will chase the partner and keep you updated.

Can I complain about a quote I did not accept?

Yes. If a quote was unclear or felt misleading, we want to know so we can correct it.
